Raffle - A Performance
"Raffle" is a performance piece, documented, remixed, and displayed in video form. The video documents the ticket handler (Paul) calling out raffle numbers to an empty audience. While emphasizing the empty space, the video also works with the idea of repetition to make the task seem endless. The task at hand is something that usually calls for interaction, but that interaction is never achieved.

Installation
On December 8th, 2010, "Raffle" was installed into a one-night gallery showing titled "Sound.Motion II" at Ringling College in Sarasota, FL. The piece ran on an infinite loop for the evening. Guests were invited to walk into the viewing space and watch the video as set up on multiple screens.
