This is my design for Orbital 20 Album Presentation. Orbital 20 is a compilation album by electronic music duo Orbital. It contains singles, album tracks and several new remixes. The release is Orbital's third hits collection; this one commemorating the 20th anniversary of the band's first release. Released June 8, 2009.

 

Main task was to represent whole spectrum of their music. Orbital made history because they appeared in the midst of a scene that prided itself on being loud, fast, and gaudy—late ‘80s acid house—championing the values of intricacy, intellect, and subtlety. They were also one of the very first electronic music acts of the modern era to record satisfying LPs which were more than just a compilation of satisfying singles, and sure enough, their first five albums are all certified classics. Idea of transformation and breaking patterns goes through the entire project. CD-package made by poch-up technology, poster A3 could be transformed into 3d-form.
