This body of work is centred around the idea of ‘Identity’ and how one must seek their true selves, and overcome the stereotypes/assumptions put upon them by other people or even society at large. The three works positioned evenly side by side in this order helps give the body ‘unity’, with the text expressing the ideas of each piece while also being the name of the work. This ‘Identity’ series is the first body of work for the year that Challenges Conventions. Each piece is different in their own unique way, but still follows the same formula and aesthetic.
