Who Am M(?)e, Zine

Who Am M(?)e
Format: 108 x 230mm                Typeface: Plantin
FINISHINGS: SINGLE STITCH BINDING, WHITE INK & DIE-CUT ON COVER

As part of a typography minor assignment in school, we were tasked to express through experimental typography the stories behind 8 objects of our choice with the only restrictions being that everything had to be black & white, each object had to be photographed through a scanner and that only the typeface 'Plantin' may be used.

Thus, Who Am M(?)e is a zine documenting the stories behind the 8 chosen objects and it tells a chronological journey of my struggle to find my identity and purpose. Using typography as the primary medium of expression, it was meant to serve as a sort of reminder of the type of person I used to be and the type of person I never want to be again.

In order to reflect my struggle for identity, an excerpt from each of the 8 stories is placed on the cover, the resulting visual chaos showing my confusion and doubt.
