Spectrum- an inclusive add on designed for the Mozilla Firefox browser. Acollaboration between myself, Abigail Ooi, Jericho Cauilan and Ali Faghihi.

This project was a live brief with mozilla, in which our group won £1000 for the idea we pitched.

Spectrum is an add on designed specifically for dyslexic users. Our research showed us that current products used for dyslexia were not effective and were mainly only using colour overlays and were difficult to use. This lead us to design the Spectrum add on.
During the project we created several wireframe ideas and once we narrowed down the function we tested different colour with a dyslexic user. Our testing showed that pink was the most helpful. This lead us to our final design, Spectrum.
Spectrum helps a user read easier by doing 4 things:

- Blocking out background text to allow the user to focus better

- Enlarges the text to aid reading

- Changes the font to a dyslexia friendly font, Arial

- Changes the colour of the background to pink on the selected text
