OMO iPhone App Concept
OMO is on online marketplace where users sell goods that bring buyers a sense of nostalgia.
The name OMO comes from the Japanese word "Omoidasu" which means "Recalling".
INSPIRATION & BACKSTORY
This is a project that I wanted to work on for a fairly long time now. As a 90's kid, I grew up around a lot of stuff that are starting to be considered "vintage".
In today's world we're all about having fast, thin, touchscreen devices, and I thought that it would be nice to take out some of my old stuff, take pictures of them and reminisce my childhood.
During my last trip home I was helping out my mom go through some of her old belongings as well and I thought that her old Brother Deluxe 1350 typewriter would be a great addition to the project. It had some rain damage so its case was in pretty bad shape. But I just knew that I wanted it front and center in my project.
