I hope you liked this simple portfolio I assembled to send to art directors.
I love transparency and therefore thought it would be nice to share a more personal aspect of the professional life as an illustrator: how do I end up with work or employers?
After all, we are here as a community and to learn from eachother.
As for me, to keep things going, I send my portfolio to art directors from papers and magazines in Belgium and the Netherlands. In the future I will do my best to expand that area.
I tried to include various commissions and personal projects, in order to be able to show the flexibility I work with. At the same time I attempted to find the core feeling of the universe that I am gradually creating. What keeps it together? It's important to look back at your own work regularly, to keep building on it.
