My favorite soccer team is Chivas de Guadalajara so I decided to modernize their logo. The logo is based on the coat-of-arms of the city Guadalajara, Jalisco. It a sports logo that merges with a medieval coat of arms very well. My version is still true to the original but with a three-dimensional aesthetic. In my opinion the original knight helmet looks too plain, so I separated it into pieces and added slits in the visor. I simplified the golden accent pieces by giving them less points.
