San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Fiesta Medal

Fiesta is a two week long celebration of the various cultures and heritages that make up the fabric of San Antonio. One of the many symbols of this joyous occasion are the medals adorned by citizens. I was honored to create a Fiesta Medal for the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce celebrating their 90th year of existence with the theme embodying a “Culture of Excellence”.  The chosen design incorporates a reimagined folk-art style mascot of the Hispanic Chamber with many bold colors to echo the diversity of the Hispanic culture and the joyful time of Fiesta.

Below are some other designs that were pitched to the client. Each design takes different influences from different aspects of the Hispanic Culture.
