Making of the Komono Vector Watch

Where it all began...

In this whole process I knew that this project was going to be a time consuming and difficult project. So, with that in mind i made sure that I would choose a watch that I loved. The Komono Watch brand has always been a brand that I loved for a long time so i decided to choose one of their watches. After a chose my watch a started sketching each part of the watch that had shading. Whether that been a leather strap or a metal watch face I tried to get done every detail.
The Mock Up...
After working for days on this watch I found myself at a stale mate. I started to get the look of the watch down and the shapes right but there were things that were missing that I needed to put in my watch to make it look the best that it could be. The gradients weren't the best and the metal parts of my watch didn't look metal at all. I knew it still had a long way to go.
The End Result...
I found that in this project that you a lot of time just need to work things out even if you don't have all the answers and don't know what you're doing half the time. Because if you do you will find out that you can do a lot more than you think you can do. I just needed to go that extra mile. Fixing my gradients and shading helped me get that look that I was looking for. Still have a lot to learn but this taught me that I can do things that didn't seem possible to me two weeks before.
