A new brand for Piko bakery
 
Aim
A response to the competition, which, through its modern image approach, had begun to threaten this long standing bakery.
 
Background
The client, Pik d.d., has been on the market for 66 years. It engages in the production and retail sale of baking and dairy products. More than 40 points of sales were compromised by a new competitor. The image and the position of the Piko brand was outdated.
 
Result
We responded to modern competitors by emphasising the strength of the bakery’s tradition and long presence on the market; specifically, we used old photographic material, warm colours, wood textures, rattan and jute. Local patriotic features are clearly marked in the design.
The success of this project has proven itself through full shops and increased sales of high quality and authentic bakery products.
