CITY OF SOUNDS

The project, inspired by the city, is been realized by using 3D printing technology to make three-dimensional shapes on the surface of a bolero. The shoulders are covered by thorns designed through a software that translates sounds into shapes, in this case, the city's traffic noises were the sound input. While the sleeves have been modeled starting from the traffic map of Germany And stylized in hexes that recalls the thorns on the shoulders.

The most interesting part of the project was to observe how well the three-dimensional parts merged with the textiles so that the final result is washable, wearable without being fragile, and able to adapt to the movements of the body.
