Domestic Violence Awareness Month Campaign

#GiveMercy Campaign

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October 2018) we launched a social media campaign at Mercy Without Limits under the hashtag GiveMercy.

The concept was to shed light on a major issue facing our community which is Young Brides. I used strong imagery displaying the real state of the victims, the focus was on the images as they can generate emotions from viewers and can be easily understood. Along side the images, statistics were added in big bold font as if saying that those facts can't be missed literally and figuratively. Above them in purple the tag line was added which reads "Give Mercy, Protect Her Honor", in a very direct tone to show the urgency of the situation.
Colors: The main color of the campaign was purple, which was the official color used for this month. I used the purple shade from Mercy Without Limits secondary color palette. For each post along with the purple, I used a different color also from MWL's secondary color palette just to distinguish each post and give it a different feeling yet staying with the theme by keeping the purple, and staying consistent with the brand's guidelines.
