Incorpherated, founded by Brittany Edwards and Khiana Lowe, is a women-led diversity organization that builds community and cultivates meaningful conversations in the sneaker, fashion, music and tech space. They’re working to create new, more authentic narratives surrounding women in male-dominated industries.
I love creating branding for elevating organizations and these ladies reached out to me to first polish their already established logo. Afterwards, I collaborated with them to produce the event materials for their 2nd Annual Straight to Feet event. My short explanation for the creative behind the look for this event is simply the banners you'd see at sports arenas. They've always moved me whenever I would go to basketball games with friends. I wanted to create a visual that doesn't distract the viewer from the messaging and that is universal. Printed collateral included stickers, flyers, t-shirts, and vinyl. While digital materials included flyers, instagram posts, instagram story gifs, and event page on splashthat.
