This month's project explores storytelling in audio form. The target audience is children from ages of 5 - 10 years old. In addition, educators may find this audio story useful as an example of storytelling. The purpose of this project is to extract a present written story and develop it into an audio format. This audio format will contain character voices and edited recordings.

The narration is recorded in Garage Band with other music and sound effects. The character voices are done by the instructional designer with some further help from present actors. The most formidable obstacle the project faced was maintaining the time limit of five minutes. The instructional designer expressed to the instructor that additional time must exist to retain the emotional appeal of the story. After negotiating the additional time with the instructor, the audio length was edited judiciously.
