Old swampy Lake Chico in beautiful central Louisiana never looked so good.

This Resurrection Fern in swampy Lake Chico is currently off-line. Needs a little rain to pop it back up. I liked the promise of the fern to come alive again.

This deceased tree displays the most beautiful colors.

Isn’t this baby alligator cute? I would, however, refrain from giving him a big hug. Or even a baby hug.
