Memory for Forgetfulness
Coptic-bound book printed with carbon transfer paper and pressed on laser-etched mdf sheets. The ink stays wet and does not adhere to the translucent paper causing the prints to react and record the interaction with use. The reader partakes in the collective story of the book and the book writes as it is being read.
The texts are from Mahmoud Darwish’s book with the same title.
