Sharea is a community driven mobile application that aims to foster neighbourhood connections through communal sharing. Shareatackles one–time–use purchases by sharing with your neighbours so you can save money, keep your garage clutter-less and meet your neighbours as well. Sharea’s goal is to reduce Australia’s waste crisis while also improving the loneliness crisis. The app will allow users to explore locally–hosted events in the neighbourhood to encourage fostering new connections. The aim is to initiate conversations with people in your area through borrowing, lending and repurposing.
