An Illustration about how we really depends on technology.
The name of the project is derived from 3 thing which is nature, technology and human, so this project basically tried to explain the correlation of those 3 things. The correlation in here will focus about how technology shifting our life from our dependent of nature somehow replace by the existing of technology. Based from that matter i want to show the audience about that problem trough a set of illustration works. The illustration i show will use our daily dependent on technology and how we forget nature aspect on it.
In my series of illustration i use question sentences to provoke the audience to think more about this problem. the question is “Are We?”. From that word i divided my illustration into 6 part, and in every part will have different problem. the 6 part is: 1. A Beginning or An End?, 2. Reestablished Everything Natural Become Artificial, 3. Everything Is Getting Easier, 4. Whole New World, 5. Everyone Consume To Feel Content and 6. Is This It?. The 5 part is telling about the problem and the last one is to question us about the whole “Are We ?” question. The work itself i use non-digital work, the reason is because i want to show that the manual way will have more feeling in it. The illustration is simply illustrate in basswood to show a nature feeling
