We Levitate is a creative arts and graduation showcase held at 2 Jalan Hang Kasturi, Pasar Seni from April 18 - April 20, 2019 organized by the Bachelor's degree final year students of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. The event captured the attention it deserved, having visitors from various creative industries and universities to witness the students' final year projects of graphic and multimedia designs at the event.
The name We Levitate is inspired by the act of levitation itself which is the process of an object being held aloft, without mechanical support in a stable position. In magic, the illusion is one in which a magician appears to defy gravity by making an object or person floats in the air. This act of manipulation relates to designers in the sense that designers have the ability to make ordinary, extraordinary.
To levitate is also a metaphor for us designers as we are able to rise from our original state into something impeccable during our final year exhibition.
