This is a series of illustrations based on a trip I took to Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast November 2017.
It began with us sitting to have warm drinks in a little coffee shop all decorated for Christmas. Shortly afterwards we checked into the hotel overlooking Haystack rock.
After enjoying the view, we put on coats and went down to the water.
(My feet were completely frozen by the sand)
After trips back and forth from the hotel to warm up, we found driftwood to sit on and watch the sunset over the ocean.
Then, finally, back to the hotel room to enjoy the lingering light with wine & candles.
