Avail Chairpack

Helping missionaries help people across the world.

A medical missionary is someone who delivers care to areas around the world where care is substandard.  The project served as means to assist medical missionaries with their work overseas.

Missionary work can sometimes be in dangerous locations with unexpected environmental and cultural concerns.  Through talking to missionaries I found their problem was living in these countries rather than the work itself.  I designed the avail chairpack to give missionaries more confidence in extreme circumstances.  The avail chairpack serves as a chair, security against theft, and a shelter against the elements.  Avail means to be helpful and this product would be helpful for people who are risking their lives to serve others.
