At the beginning of the day, we woke up and preparing to start our daily routine. While we sit on the toilet scrolling the screen on phone, having breakfast with updating NEWS from websites or preparing to dress up for an important event, I found that some people are browsing their horoscope of the day for their lucky number, colour, weekly fortune or doing the psychological quiz for defining the kind they are in.
Although it is just a reference data and no studied for the research, people still enjoy believing they can control a little bit of their life. This is entertaining and also let people obtain some positive energy to their repetitive habit. I think this is like the inspirational quotes from some famous successful people in order to cheer up people from the depressing mode.
With this idea, I want to create a sketch which has inspiring quotes by different successful people include designers, artists or writers…etc. Every time we enter the P5.JS website, there will be different words that will inspire us. After this, there will be four colours in gradient which is chosen by the mixed colours from the first one and the last one. We can draw lines of dots in grayscale.
I used the API from the FavQs website. Inspirational quote is at the right side, the name of the author will be at the bottom left and the categories of the quote are on the top.
