Lavazza Shoot
Week 2 - We had to shoot for a Lavazza ad. We had to use a coffee cup and go out and shoot a location shot and a person that we would then use to composite an ad for the Lavazza brand.

My group chose to shoot in the Olympic Park. We used the canal as the location and Deanna as our model.
We shot all the photo in the same direction to make sure that the lighting on all of the composites would be as similar as possible.

We used photoshop to cut out the cup using the pen tool and placed it on the canal. I then duplicated the cup, flipped it upside down and decreased the opacity to create a reflection in the water so it seems like the cup was floating down the canal.

Cutting out the model was a bit more difficult especially the hair. I realised that I didn't need the legs of the model so I cut across the jumper line so that I would just have the top half of the model.

I then placed the cut out inside the cup on the canal to make it seem like the model was sitting in the cup.

I then inserted the Lavazza png to complete the ad.
I found it difficult to cut out the cut exactly which is why there are some darker areas on the cup handle. I also made a mistake in which part of the cup I should cut out causing there to be pieces on cup on the models jumper.
If there were ripples in the cup reflection it may have been more convincing.
