Thong | Typographical Poster

This project that began in early May was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster that would help display the word “Thong”, through the use of text and illustration-oriented elements, alongside a visual style that would combine minimalism and simplicity together.

As you will see, the final outcome consists of the letter “T” becoming the only piece of illustration within the design itself, due to the garment having similar shaping to the actual letter, whilst the remaining letters are presented in a standard text format.

To help push the overall depth of design that little bit further, I decided to include lighting gradients alongside a grain texture in order to help push away from a look that I felt would appear far too flat, and way too polished for my own personal liking.
