Logo Design contest for a production company.
From the client:
"Production pool is a production company, which focuses on advertising videos, original television production and its goal is to expand in to feature film production in the near future." ___________________________________________
"The meaning of the word “pool” should be understood as a supply or hub for resources: creativity, good craftsmanship, talent. However, it is critical that it does NOT in any sense relate to the “swimming pool” meaning."
Design sketches drawn with procreate, which made unique lettering and solid&void studies much more easy.
Geometry consists of an abstraction of a pool, a defined space which includes initials of the company with a subtle "L" letter creating people /ppl inclusive to area.
Main design focus was creating a flexible logo usable on variety of scales and medias. Therefore the design process has a movement in it which also allows long and short versions of the logo.
