The Logo
The design to the personal logo was a challenge.  I was looking for a high-tech design to my logo but I didn't know what to make.  I decided to look on Google Images for inspiration.  I found a modern logo for inspiration.  I started creating designs and I found my logo.  In both of the logos, I spent what seemed like forever changing everything; changing the colors, the size of the font, and changing the placement of the logos.
Basketball
As we get further into the portfolio, you'll some more school projects.  In this project, I had to chose a select group of stock photos that would create an action of something and make the action complete.  I went onto a stock photo website and searched for a set of basketball stock photos.  I found the stock photos shown below and I went to finding a background.  I tried finding basketball court stock photos and unfortunately couldn't find any.  I tried searching basketball courts on Google Images and found a Boys and Girls Club court.  It was at the perfect angle, too.  I put the photos in to Adobe Photoshop CC and started editing.  As I placed the photos, I put a drop shadow behind each of the characters to make the photo seem more natural.  When I put the drop shadow in, I was done.
Exito High School
In my school, we have a club for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).  In a competition, I was paired with two other students to create a school.  This school had to have a logo, location, letterhead, rack card, business card, donation card, and mission statement.  I was assigned to designing the rack card and letterhead.  At the time, I was learning about Adobe Photoshop CC and I had to design the stationary in Adobe InDesign CC, a program I've heard of but not used.
I was briefly taught the basics of InDesign but I was still lost in the software.  Like the personal logo, I looked on Google Images for inspiration.  This school was made very modern and was a technological school so I chose to have high-tech stationary.
The Champion
The Champion was a project for Graphic Design at my school.  We were assigned to create art with a silhouette from our stock photos.  In addition to creating the silhouette, we had to find an adjective that went with the stock photo.  I decided to create a basketball in the background with a watermark of our school's logo.
Huddle to Fight Hunger Ad Recreation
The Huddle to Fight Hunger ad recreation was a project that I was assigned to.  We were given an ad to recreate in Adobe InDesign CC and I was assigned to a Huddle to Fight Hunger ad.  The logo is shown to the left and my ad is shown to the right.  First, I found photo of a football field for the background and then I found the fonts.  I chose Banana Yeti and Sportsball found in dafont.com.  Then, I found the logos of the companies partnered with this charity.  I put in descriptions of the charity and then put in the company logos.  In the original ad, there was a ripped paper within the ad.  It was hard recreating the add shown, but I found a way to recreate it.
Exito High School Letterhead
Like the Exito High School rack card, the letterhead has a similar theme with the blue and emerald colors and design.  When creating this, I wanted to make the rack card and letterhead as a stationary package.  I took the line from the rack card and warped it to fit the letterhead.  I then took the information from the rack card and put it on the top-right of my letterhead.  The Exito High School logo is shown to the top-right of the page.
Blemishes
In one of my projects, I was required to remove the blemishes on a woman's forehead in Adobe Photoshop CC.  This was simple project in which I used the spot healing brush tool.  I click and dragged across small parts of her forehead to remove the blemishes.  The photo shown on the right was before the spot healing brush and the photo after the spot healing brush is on the right.
