As a result, I tried to retain the aesthetic of sophistication and find a better balance between the body content and images, in hopes of freeing some whitespaces for a better reading experience.
Furthermore, I also used color as a division — yellow, red, blue — between small chapters and for the selected articles. In chapter like "Food and Drink briefing," I also used the color grey to enhance the visual hierarchy between each small articles, making each story more stand out.
Overall, I tried to maintain the original aesthetic of the magazine while also created a more relaxing mood and reading experience by giving sufficient colors to each spread.
