A STUDY ON THE "NEW UGLY"
A booklet for the study report I made about the "New Ugly". It contains some articles I read about Brutalism, an introduction of Yui Takada and a case study of one of his favorite package design of a coconut drink. I try to find the origin of this design style and discuss how we balance function and appearance in our design by analyzing the package in detail.

一本有关于“新丑风”的研究报告，内容包括了我阅读的有关粗野主义的文章、设计师高田唯的介绍和对他最喜爱的包装之一——椰树椰汁的包装设计案例研究。我试图找出这类设计风格出现的根源，并且通过细致地分析椰树椰汁的包装来进一步讨论我们如何在设计中平衡审美与功能性。
