The aim of the thesis is to identify the ways which different devices can communicate with each other and with their users, focusing on the field of human—computer interaction and non-verbal language. The term "Ethereal Interface" is related to a UI system through which different objects can share data and allow access to their hardware in order to amplify the communication capabilities of the individual devices. A research against the obsolescence that has as its fulcrum the sharing of heterogeneous inputs and outputs, mediated by an Artificial Intelligence.
