Voronoi Coffee Table 

 

Inspired by Starbucks emerged this organic and unique design.

 

The table is designed to occupy a singular individual to enjoy a Coffee and a bite to eat, while allowing the ability to wirelessly charge their phone via induction charging.

 

It has a built in rechargeable battery to power the induction charging station. The table can be disassembled for transportation and packing.

 

This is so far one of the most enjoyable pieces of visual language that I have done at university. I designed and made the table with help form CAD data which I relayed into technical drawings to make particular parts by hand, for example the base and table top. Whereas the neck of the table was 3D printed and hand finished.
