Project: Branding & Packaging
The owners of Zola Foods approached me to do the branding and packaging concept for their sustainably sourced super-food products. The client already had a good idea of what they wanted in terms of logo design, which they communicated to me and I was able to execute it for them for the various aspects of platforms that it would be used for. After the brand guide and logo was established, I also did stationery and packaging concept for them.
The fun part about this project for me was the packaging concept, which they loved and ultimately went for. I did illustrations for each product to have their own set of illustrations and assigned color. We did stickers on brown sealable pouch bags.
As part of the bran guide, I had put together brand colouring guides and samples of illustration styles, which served us greatly when it was time to assign colours and illustration to the various products.
For the illustration on the packaging, I drew various forms of the relevant super food, which included flowers, leafs, fruit and seeds.
