Akif Pirinçci’s murder mystery novel, Felidae, is a dark and unique story about the struggle and war between man and animal. Like the book, this illustrated book cover is heavily detailed and meticulous, with dark undertones. The distorted characters mirror the distorted ideals and themes questioned in the book. Character design was an important step in the process of illustrating this cover, in order to accurately portray the unusual story.
