I was commissioned to make changes to this eBook cover that the client had paid a designer on Fiverr to create.

This is my exploration of the image and type. Everything was too unprofessional, but the image was what the client wanted. The dead guy is found in his exercise swimming pool. But we needed better type. The all black cover was a little too clever for its own good, but I really dig it. The protagonist is a blind detective that "sees red" when he encounters a murder scene. So I went with the red overtones.

I stumbled across the "is" in "Exercise" while I was trying to fit all the words together. Combining the two helped the composition but it also created a sort of clever word-in-a-word thing. Here is the final eBook cover image.
