On a daily basis we see a lot of shapes. We’ll find them in everything around our home or in the streets. I started thinking about it, we already created a lot with all sorts of shapes but can we create more? I selected some shapes I see on a daily basis, 9 in total. A circel, a square and a rectangle in different sizes. Together with some patterns and the color yellow. I wanted to see what I could do with them to create art. And so I started the ‘How to ikea with shapes?’ project. What kind of art can we create with daily shapes? And how will this end? Personally, I think there is no end. You can create as many pieces of art with these shapes and patterns. And that’s what I love about this concept.
