THE OPPOSITE (คู่ตรงข้าม)
นิทรรศกาลศิลปะที่ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวของของการมีอยู่ของสิ่งที่ตรงข้ามกัน
ผ่านแนวคิดของศิลปินสองคน คือ เม (Braemo) และ เคน (Ken Nakanat)
โดยเราทั้งสองคนมีความเชื่ออยู่อย่างหนึ่งว่า ทุกๆอย่างบนโลกใบนี้ มีสิ่งที่เป็นคู่ตรงกันข้ามอยู่เสมอ
เช่น สีขาว และ สีดำ , ความดีและความชั่ว ฯลฯ
การแสดงงานจะแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ส่วน
คือส่วนของ เม และ เคน โดยที่เราทั้งสองจะถ่ายทอดผลงานออกมาเป็นเรื่องราวที่ตรงกันข้าม
ซึ่งความตรงกันข้ามนั้น ได้รวมไปถึงเทคนิคที่เป็นลักษณะเฉพาะของทั้งสองคน
ที่ให้อารมณ์ขัดแย้งกันอย่างสิ้นเชิง

เช่น สีขาว และ สีดำ , ความดีและความชั่ว ฯลฯ
การแสดงงานจะแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ส่วน
คือส่วนของ เม และ เคน โดยที่เราทั้งสองจะถ่ายทอดผลงานออกมาเป็นเรื่องราวที่ตรงกันข้าม
ซึ่งความตรงกันข้ามนั้น ได้รวมไปถึงเทคนิคที่เป็นลักษณะเฉพาะของทั้งสองคน
ที่ให้อารมณ์ขัดแย้งกันอย่างสิ้นเชิง
This exhibits introduce the story of the existence of opposite things through the ideas of Mae (Breamo) and Ken (Ken Mask).
Both of the artists strongly believe that everything in this world have the opposites, such as White and Black or Good and Evil etc.
The exhibits are divided into 2 parts, which are Mae’s part and Ken’s part. Both of them portray their arts through the story of the opposite things, together with their own different skills and techniques, which provide the presence different and opposing emotions

แนวคิด : เราทั้งคู่มีความเชื่อในเรื่องของการมีอยู่ของสิ่งที่เป็น “คู่ตรงข้าม” โดยความสำคัญในการมีอยู่ของสิ่งเหล่านี้
ก็เพื่อจะให้เราได้เรียนรู้ถึงคุณค่าของสิ่งๆหนึ่ง เช่น เราจะเห็นคุณค่าของความสุข ก็ต่อเมื่อเราต้องพบเจอกับความทุกข์
,เรารู้ซึ้งถึงคุณค่าของสันติภาพ ก็ต่อเมื่อโลกใบนี้มันเต็มไปด้วยสงครามและการเข่นฆ่า และเมื่อสองสิ่งนี้เวียนว่ายอยู่ร่วมกันเป็นเส้นขนาน มันจะไม่มีความสมบูรณ์แบบใดๆเกิดขึ้น แต่สิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นนั่นคือความ “สมดุลย์
Concept : We believe in the existence of “the opposite”. They exist so that we can learn and appreciate value of things, we sometimes forget exist; for examples, we appreciate happiness when we feel sorrow, we appreciate peace when there are wars. They are coexisting like a parallel and when we realize the existence of the opposite, there will be no perfection anymore, only “balance”.

" HEAVEN" (พิมาน)

แนวคิด : ต้องการจะพูดถึงสวรรค์ในอุดมคติของผู้วาด
ซึ่งคำว่า “พิมาน” หมายถึงที่อยู่ของเทวดา ผู้วาดต้องการที่จะสื่อสารว่า สิ่งที่สวยงามหรือดีงามนั้น
ไม่จำเป็นจะต้องมีรูปลักษณ์ในแบบที่สังคมกำหนดเสมอไป หากสิ่งนั้นดีงามมาจากข้างในจริงๆ
ไม่ว่าจะหุ้มด้วยเปลือกแบบไหน คุณค่าของมันย่อมจะไม่เปลี่ยนแปลง
Concept : This painting conveys the artist’s perspective on “Pi-man”, a mythical place where angels reside. The beauty and virtue in everything don’t have to be defined by society’s norms and their appearance. If those things are truly pure from the inside, any filthy appearances cannot change their true core.

"Hell"

แนวคิด : งานชิ้นนี้พูดถึงหน้ากลัวของนรกบนพื้นฐานความเชื่อ โดยที่ไม่มีการแบ่งแยกระหว่างเชื้อชาติและศาสนา แต่เป็นสถานที่รวมทุกศาสนาและทุกความเชื่อไว้ด้วยกัน ทุกๆความเชื่อนั้น เมื่อเกิด สรัทธาต่อความกลัวบาป ผลที่เรากระทำ ทำสิ่งใดย่อมได้รับสิ่งนั้น มาเป็นบรรทัดฐานให้คน หันมาเกรงกลัวต่อบาปมากยิ่งขึ้น
Concept : This painting portrays the idea of Hell that does not rely on any races and religions, it is a place that gathers every belief and religions all together. Once people believe in karma, moral norms were established by man in fear of sins.

" PEGAN"

แนวคิด : ย้อนกลับไปในยุคก่อนที่จะมีศาสนาต่างๆเกิดขึ้นมาบนโลกใบนี้ ช่วงเวลาที่ผู้คนยังคงนับถือในธรรมชาติ
หรือสิ่งที่มองไม่เห็น ก็ทำให้เข้าใจได้ว่า ไม่ว่าจะในยุคไหนๆ สิ่งที่มนุษย์จำเป็นต้องมีเหมือนกัน คือ “เครื่องยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจ”
Concept: Back to the time before religions were created and human still worship nature, it let us understand, no matter which era people always have adherence to spiritual anchor.

"Future World"

แนวคิด : ในมุมมองของผู้วาดมีแนวคิดที่ว่า ทุกศาสนาล้วนมาพร้อมกับความเชื่อ และไม่ว่าจะยุคสมัยใด มนุษย์ก็ยังคงต้องการบางสิ่งเพื่อยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจเสมอ เมื่อความเจริญทางวัตถุสวนทางกับจิตใจและศิลธรรม จนทำให้เกิดการล่มสลายของเผ่าพันธุ์กลุ่มความเชื่อเก่าๆกลับสูญสิ้น กลุ่มความเชื่อใหม่ๆก็ยังคงจะเกิดขึ้นมา เวียนว่ายเป็นวัฏจักรคอยเป็นหลักให้ยึดถือกันต่อไป
Concept : In my perspective, each religions come with its own sets of belief and from the very beginning people have always needed spiritual anchor. When the progression of objects oppose with the mind’s, degeneration of moral belief started to form. New sets of belief keep on arising like an ongoing cycle for human to hold on to.

แนวคิด : ความงามที่ปราศจากการตกแต่งของหญิงสาวชนเผ่า เปรียบเสมือนของขวัญจากธรรมชาติ ที่สรรสร้างให้กับโลกใบนี้
Without beautification, the loveliness of tribe women are like gifts from nature that were granted to this world.

"Pain in nature"
แนวคิด : ความงามของธรรมชาติที่ถูกทำลายเปรียบเสมือนตัวแทนของ ผู้หญิงที่กำลังร้องไห้ จากการถูกทำลายโดยเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ ในชีวิตจริงเราอาจจะมองไม่เห็นถึงความเจ็บปวด เหล่านี้ ผมจึงต้องการจะสื่อให้เห็นว่าจริงๆแล้วธรรมชาติ ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งสำคัญต่อสิ่งมีชีวิตทุกชนิดบนโลกนี้และมีความรู้สึกไม่แตกต่างจากพวกเรา
Concept : The crying woman, who was damaged by the modern technologies, represents the beauty of nature that was negatively impacted by humans. In real life, the suffering of nature cannot be seen as clear as human’s. Therefore, I want to show how important nature is to every living creatures on this planet and that they also have feelings just like us.

แนวคิด : ลัทธิทุกลัทธิบนโลกนี้ล้วนแล้วเกิดจาก ความเชื่อและความศรัธาทั้งสิ้น ที่ใดมีผู้คน ที่มีความเชื่อความศรัทธา ที่นั้นย่อมมีลัทธิทางศาสนาเสมอ ความเชื่อไม่มีผิดถูก สุดแล้วแต่ความศรัทธาของคนคนนั้น
Every cults in this world are products of belief and faith. Where there are people who have faith and belief, there are always religious cults. There is no right or wrong in belief, depends on the individual’s faith.
