IAMA BAE: Goddess of the Sea

Iama Bae is the queen, mother and goddess of the sea. Far from civilization, from the cities, from the iron and steam and dust lies her statues. Built by whom? No one knows!

Fishermen and sailors put their gifts at her feet, where sea-life grows tall and full of vigor. Iama Bae stands tall herself against the storms, guiding lost seamen to the light. Her anchor gives'em strenght to face the thunder. With her lamp she reveals the crossroads of the sea, of life and of love.

She can't look at herself through the looking glass, though.  The mirror is meant for mortals, both men and women, to face their own demons. They say that only those who know themselves are meant to be truly guided by the goddess.

Her knowledge doesn't come from books, but from the bones of earth, of salt and sea. She holds a misterious rune at her right high hand, wich some say leads to the legendary land of Topia. But its true meaning is only known to those lost at sea.
