I Love You 2020 Calendar
Because of the progess in science and technology, we have long ignored the culture of calendars which played an important role in the old days. The advance of science and technology results in convenience, but increases the distance between us and the indifference to our surroundings. The phrase “I love you” is so simple, but too heavy for us to open our minds for sharing.
We, therefore, chose calendars as the platform to fulfill our design philosophy, in hopes that it can serve as the medium to deliver our concerns for other people and practice our love for them every day. For the purpose of substantializing this philosophy, we overthrow the traiditional idea about disposable calendarsand affiliate calendars with the origami instruction, which furnishes each single day with its significance, such as birthdays of family members and romance anniversaryies. We sincerely wish that our design can encourage everybody to say “I love you” to the people around.
The 2020 I Love You Calendar is a calendar expressing everybody’s love by 340 fonts and 26 holiday illustrations. At the foot of each page, there are some words to deliver our love, in hopes that these words help people wholeheartedly leading their lives. Each page of the calendar can be folded into the shape of heart to encourage people to share and speak out their love to others. The design of 2020 I Love You Calendar will enhance people’s feeling of being loved and make our world warmer.

由於科技的進步，使得人們忽略了從前社會中重要的日曆文化。科技的發達為人們帶來便利，卻也讓人們之間帶著防備與冷漠，使彼此之間的距離越來越遙遠，而「我愛你」簡單的三個字，我們卻吝嗇說出口與人分享。
所以我們選擇將日曆做為我們設計的載體，希望日曆也能成為一種傳遞彼此溫度的媒介，讓人們可以實踐每天傳遞愛的行動。為了想讓行動具體化，我們顛覆傳統日曆撕完即丟的概念，融入愛心摺紙教學，賦予每一天不同的意義，可以是家人生日、情人紀念日⋯⋯等等。希望透過我們的設計能讓大家想起自己有多久沒和身邊的人說我愛你。
2020愛你愛妳日曆是一本使用122種語言的我愛你，以340種文字造型與26種節日插畫來表達我愛妳的日曆，並在日曆下方會有一段愛的小語，傳遞愛的含義，希望人們透過這樣的文字可以更貼近生活的感受，將日曆摺成愛心形狀的方式，鼓勵人們在生活中勇於分享以及傳遞對他人的「我愛你」，藉由2020愛你愛妳日曆的設計加深人們對愛的感受與溫度。
