Self-Portrait: Alter Ego
This photo shoot was intended to capture my 'alter ego'. Usually a quiet, understated graphic designer, I reflected on what life might be like if I focussed on my other passion: drumming. This involved taking my kit outside for a moody nighttime feel, striking a pose with some attitude, and even giving myself some tattoos! I also used the image in an editorial mock-up showcasing my band in a rock magazine.
The photo was taken on a 30-second exposure so the kit could be light painted from every angle using handheld torches, and was edited using Lightroom & Photoshop.
