2016 Filed-Timeline Adventure(Book) is a record of workshop and talk series that took place in Feb 2017. Eight young editors who have been archiving their view on social issues on a website 'Filed-timeline' organised 'events' that they feel necessary to move forward into 2017. The workshops and talk series were based around themes such as feminism in graphic design, film and art, urban landscape, basic income.
I ran two sessions as a reaction to hashtag movement(#00계_내_성폭력 / #sexualharrassment_in_00industry) that took place in oct-nov 2016. At a small, exclusive roundtable, I invited 5 young female graphic designers to share their works with each other and discuss about what they think and feel about working as a female designer in contemporary Korean society. At a larger, open talk session, I presented gender mainstreaming policies in cultural sector, from around the world and invited female politician, Jungmi Lee(now a leader of Korean Justice party) to discuss what we can do to implement such policies in Korea.
