The Lost Stories of Syria

This book is a collection of stories from Syria during 2015 - 2018. The theme I selected for the ISTD brief is called Lost and the book has been designed to enable the reader to learn about various events that occurred in Syria and also gain some insight into other events that overshadowed the story. I used data from Twitter to help build context around the story. To add meaning to the book I used three types of typography, the first was a serif called Baskerville I liked delicate finish and symmetry. The second was sans serif called Avenir this typography helped with the info-graphics it has a nice geometric style and works well with numbers. The last typography was called Adobe Arabic, I like the authenticity and felt that it worked visually very well in the book.
