Wine bar.
At the beginning of this year I made an interior mural in a wine bar Kurorty. It was meant to update the space and make it fresher. The bar is open at night, and I decided to show the contrast between day lightning and evening lighting, between warm and cold. Such a contrast will hide some interesting details that will not be visible during the day, but will appear only at night. This is why I decided to use fluorescent paint and ultraviolet lights.

Also, when designing the interior mural, I wanted to work with the space and visually emphasize the division into several zones, while maintaining unity of the design. I would like to explain all the details step by step.

I filled the wall opposite the bar counter with a calligraphic pattern. It is not visible from the street, but entering the bar you find yourself in another space, and this wall greatly affects the overall atmosphere of the place.
The diptych, which I’ve also done for this bar, is located on the same wall. The calligraphic pattern smoothly flows from the wall to the diptych, and from the diptych they will appear from the canvases to the wall, thereby combining the diptych with the plane of the wall, all the while remaining a separate, independent element of space.

I’ve also added a calligraphic pattern for transparent glass ceiling lamps. The pattern is based on my work previous work inspired by Cyrillic ligature letters called viaz'. Within the context of my current art I’ve developed my views about this kind of writing. I’ve used a white squeezer marker to make this pattern.
When booking a table at this the bar they use wine bottles with signs on them saying "Reserved". I added drops and smears of fluorescent paint to these bottles so that they will fit into the new style of the place.
Another important part of the bar is the dj-rack. The letters on the wall behind it are graphically in rhythm with the form of letters on the rack itself.
Opposite the diptych there is another canvas 120x100 cm in size. The calligraphy on this canvas also extends past the size of the canvas onto the wall, making it blend into the bar space.
