Occupying Tai Wai Station Plan

Occupying Tai Wai Station
Course work in 2019(Space&Site)
Location: Tai Wai Train Station in Hong Kong
Tai Wai Station connected the Ma On Shan Line and East Rail Line which made it a "must go" station for residents along the Ma On Shan line if they want to leave the area by MTR.
I visit this station nearly everyday. Like many people who lived along the Ma On Shan Line, this place is very familiar and special to me.
Since it is a very specific site for residents around the district, my plan for "occupying" the station is in a visitor-friendly way.
Some illustration ideas to replace the advertisement.
All of them are snapshot of people who would visit the station.
Few of them would be related to some special event happened in the station, which most of the people who go there have experienced or seen before.
Those relatable design would be hidden around the station. People may not notice them if they didn't know about the events. They are like "Easter Eggs".
In 2015, a student was not allow to get on the train as she was carrying a large piece of music instrument. Many music lovers were shock about the news and they gather in the station with their instruments to protest.
A man in shirt, most common type of person you would see around the station especially in the morning. They seems very normal, but there is a extremely unforgettable event happened in the station about them.
In 2018, despite tons of damage left in the city by an extreme Typhoon Mangkhut, workers still needed to go to work a day after the typhoon left. As the transportation network in the city was damage, many station were in chaos. Regarding to the speciality of Tai Wai Station, it became one the most crowded and chaotic place at that morning.
One of the spot I chose in the station.
It is a bridge connecting the two lines. It is a ONE way road, but there is not sign signaling visitor.
Therefore, I have an idea to put these running illustration on the walls to remind visitors. Since it was connecting the two line, most of the time when people walk through the bridge would end up running as they don't want to miss the train on the other side of the station. I think it would be interesting and relatable to people who actually did that there.
Some picture to show the structure of the site.
