It's all over the news and it's a complete mess! I'm not massively into politics but thought it would be a fun topic to illustrate because it sparks a lot of different thoughts and opinions. I also would love to one day work more in editorial illustration and I plan on doing more illustrations to do with the latest news and stories around the world.

This particular piece was created using mostly digital techniques in Photoshop I imagined Great Britain as a balloon being set free but with the constant fear of EU looming over it. I suppose in a way when you set a balloon free you never quite know where it might end up which is quite a nice analogy for the current situation.
