Project Yuri is a fun, space adventure game created to teach kids (and parents) about colonialism. Colonialism type games today usually involve things like murder, rape, etc. in order for players to win a game. I didn't want to include that, as this game would be for children and families, so I based it in space. I wanted the colors to be bright and the characters to be cute and fun to appeal to kids.
I created the concept, name, how the game works and the design.
