"Marshmallow Marshal" is a 3D animation piece.

As a university project, it wasn't perfect. Some of the issues it suffers from are rendering mistakes and lacking animation. 

As a compositor and editor of the project, I attempted to fix as many of these issues as possible.

The following is an example of a rendering mistake. During a sunset scene, a sudden burst of bright light occurs.

Using a variety of techniques, the effect was minimised to be almost unnoticeable. 

Compositing and editing provide tools for much more than simple patching together of a video. They provide an opportunity for highlighting elements, if needed, to exaggerate emotional impact and important story elements.

The project had some other uneven lighting issues, which were fixed in post production.
