A brewery based in the charming Lake District, the client was in need of a brand to make their products stand out.
Our approach was distinctive yet sympathetic to the brewery’s location. We began by naming the brand ‘Handsome’ - communicating both the beauty of the beers and the beauty of where they’re made. Developing this through a charming and cheeky tone of voice, we later named the products (including Handsome FKR and Handsome Stranger to name a few).
The design also followed suit through an authentic look and feel with nods to the brewery, whilst maintaining a charismatic edge. For example the ‘H’ icon is crafted to mimic the curvature and architecture of the bridge at the site for a traditional feel whilst the bottle designs were given standout with modern gold and bright pink accents.
