Editorial design for my final year dissertation at university. I discuss and question the creative reaction in people that is triggered by human suffering and darkness. I cover topics of art therapy, art movements which derived from war, propaganda, and how healing from suffering can often result in the evolution of an individual's best self.
Inspired by Dadaism, Surrealism, and Automatism, this editorial design reflects the style of Kurt Schwitters 'MERZ' graphic design and typography.
