Fear and Loathing: A Tribute.
This piece is a tribute to my favourite book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. This piece features reproductions of Ralph Steadmans Illustrations from the book and quotations.
The concept of this piece was to capture what i felt the spirit of the book was, the colour, text and illustrations are relentless on the piece they follow the entire shape from whatever angle the piece is viewed the onlooker sees something eye catching and bold.
This piece was hand built using white Earthernware clay, scrafettoed imagery and text, underglazes and oxides, finished with a high gloss glaze.
