Ten Bricks - Small Identity



BACKGROUND
A small identity for a great project! “Ten Bricks,” is a series of stories across jobs and industries to show how real individuals get from Point A to Point B (or C or D or E) in their careers. Brick-by-brick.

While most career paths are nonlinear, most advice around careers still states that you should know what you want to do in order to be successful, train for it, and then go work before you eventually retire. Since every career is unique, there isn’t going to be standard advice for everyone. Ten Bricks wants to help motivate individuals who are stuck in their careers to make a change.




SOLUTION
The logotype, typography and dark main color add the necessary seriousness to the brand. The interviewees are sharing their life stories, the good times and the harder ones.

At the same time Ten Bricks aim to inspire and encourage their readers. The bright red bricks in the logo add playfulness and positivity, and represent the many steps in a persons career. They are an essential part of the identity, and are also used in simple illustrations throughout the brand. All the illustrations are "imperfect" to add a more human touch to them.
